ARE YOUR FRIENDS ROLLS OF TISSUE PAPER?

When I need something, I remember that I have her. When she needs me, I am MIA (Missing In Action). When he sees me, he remembers that he misses me. When I am out of sight, I am at best, an afterthought.Can we stop using people?!Many times, we say we don’t like being used. We don’t like being the fire extinguisher. We don’t like being the Automated Teller Machine (ATM). We hate being the ‘mess-cleaner’.Yet we use people!I have been guilty of using people too. And I know how much it hurts to be ‘useful’ only when I am to be used.Yes, quality relationships should be give-and-take. No, quality relationships shouldn’t be about being remembered only when there is a gap to be filled.Students, when last did you talk to your sponsors and it wasn’t about money? Parents, when last did you talk to your child(ren) and it wasn’t about your expectations? People, when last did you show your friends and family that you value and love them without expecting anything in return?Luke 6:31- And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.I am sorry for using you. I am very sorry. Forgive me, please.
