SORO SOKE: LET’S TAKE BACK OUR LAND

It started as a groaning
Till it became murmurings
Can you hear the loud voices?
End SARS! End SWAT!

It’s so loud, the deaf can hear
It’s so bright, the blind can see.
Can you hear the sound of rain?
The drops from the prayer walks,
wetting our thirsty land.

Asake, don’t just sit pretty,
Tell Ade not to wallow in pity
Let’s take back our city.

Pray, Speak up!
Don’t be mute
We are a people backed by God.
